2001 fiat punto not starting?

hi wonder if someone can help i just filled up with petrol pulled out and it conked out on me as a bus was going to let me out, it would not start but sounded healthy enough when tried to start it but just wasnt. little while later it did but enging light was flashing so i decided to turn it off and on again and it was ok but while driving pulling back a bit and felt like cutting out when upped the clutch. left it when parked up and nothing no luck at all, apparently cam sensor is ok and wiring too. ecu ? thanks
